I finally got around to sand blasting and powder coating my wrought iron patio furniture. We've had it for about 37 years. I spray can painted them about 15 years ago with Rustoleum dark grey hammertone paint. They looked pretty good for a few years, but they were getting rather ratty looking. The chairs break down into two pieces; top and bottom. I have about 12 hours in this chair. 10 hours or blasting and 2 hours of powder coating. The chair pieces fit OK in my blasting cabinet, but they were big enough that moving them around to get to every nook and cranny took a while. Plus, every single one of the diamond shaped holes in the top part had to be completely blasted to bare metal. One chair down; 3 chairs and the table top to go. The table top will just fit in my powder coating oven. The color is Eastwood's Silver Vein with a good coat of clear on top.
