Buck in the backyard

by the way, bakarooda, any measurements for making fender mount brackets for my 73 duster.. would make the commute a little more interseting.. :toothy7:
I'm currently in the process of working up the mounts for an M-134A Vulcan, but the main problem is a lack of lower fender supports in key areas and brackets that won't rip off the side of the car once in place. The next issue to deal with is trigger linkage to the steering column, but they should be available by March... :toothy7: :toothy7:

Very nice "light" weaponry you have there Bakarooda.:rambo: That rail gun must be named Betty Lou, from the Dayuper's song. I guess you wouldn't need to grind any hamburg if you used that.

The bigger 8 and 9 pointer came in again last night, and I got a couple of pics of them pushing each other around, while a smaller 8 pointer watched. Again I need to apologize about the picture quality from my digital camera. I'll hopefully be getting some 1000 speed for my 35mm camera, and get some better pics. Tim

Last year I had a group of 6 that would make laps around my neighbor hood every night. This year I only see 2 of them and its only once or twice a week. I remember when I was younger they were all over our yard eating from our apple trees. Now my area is so over built they have no place to live. Very sad.

Bakarooda,

That gun gives a whole new meaning to the term "spray and pray". LOL

Jack

Haha, you ain't kiddin'. Actually, it's quite accurate to a good distance when mounted on something that won't get easily knocked over. It fires 30 rounds per second. :toothy7: :glasses2:

Dude that one would look real nice on the wall..... Pretty deer .. Thanks for posting and keep them coming... If there is one thing that rates up there with my Mopar it is bow hunting I just love them both....

Here's some better pics of the 9 pointer. :thumleft:
The bucks are coming out a little earlier now, so I can get better pics. The little 8 pointer isn't shy, and shows up throughout the day.
We have another good storm coming in Sunday, through Monday, and they will start showing up in numbers. It won't be long and there will be 15-20 out there at a time. All 30 feet from our kitchen window. COOL
I'll keep posting pics for as long as you guys want to keep looking, Tim.

No didn't score on any of the deer, waiting on an invite for a shot at that one at your house Pine Tree ....LOL..... But that last pic is the creature I see in my nightmares when I think of all the work my Duster needs...:sign11:

Sorry for not posting any pics lately, but I've been busy making some x-mas gifts.
I took this pic of the buck around 2:30 pm, before we put out any feed. I guess he was hungry, and decided to feed on the shrubs, by our deck. One more step, and he would have been on it. A couple years ago, we did have a little one walk across our deck, and go out the driveway. Tim

 What do the wives of Santas reindeers do while they are all off for the holidays.

ANSWER: Blow a few bucks!:jocolor:

The deer here eat up all my flowers and tear up small trees. We're overpopulated here in Tennessee, and you see dead ones on the side of the road everywhere. Last year the harvest reported by hunters was 180,000 deer.

That's a classic, Longgone.=D>

Monoptn, What they shoot in your state, is 3/4 of our total herd number.

Ramcharger, Yep, he is an 8 pointer. He's here off and on all day. It's nothing to see him at 10 am.

Still waiting for more new bucks to come in. We saw a new spike horn the other night. That makes 7 different bucks, and about a dozen does and lambs so far. Tim

here on the pacific ocean we live on a point 6miles long a 2 miles wide with several 100 deer (black tails) te eat ever thing i sight this spring a freind had a buck use his car to get the velvet off by the way do you guys count every lump on both horns to get an 8 point out here thats is a 3 point

340demon, Those pictures don't show the rack very good. Here, we count each point that's over 1", and get the total. There's a better picture of the buck on the 1st page of this thread, along with some others. This one's not a monster, but he's fun to watch.
I'm glad we have plenty of trees here for the deer to rub on. I'd hate for one of them to use my Dart Sport for a scratching post. Tim

you guys out east count funny. out here its a 4x4 or 3x3 etc... does make them sound bigger though!!!
