that piston looks like one I took out of a 7.3 power stroke diesel after someone jammed it full of either .

Bought a piston, rod and bearing assembly from Chrysler. The original piston, the one that failed, had 166,000 miles on it. Rod length wasn't the issue.
No, I meant the length after the piston got crushed, no matter since You got a complete assy.....carry on........................
