Cars made from refrigerators

I've seen one of those several years back. Wonder how many he's done?

i dropped into the rabbit hole off that video and there's another more in depth on with dennis gage (my classic car/mustache guy) where they showed two others that were complete, and an earlier 29(?) chevy that he'd done in the 60's along with some dwarf racers and mentioned another olds he was working on. they drive them around on the street a bit as well.

impressive amount of skill to make that stuff. i think he said it took him about 5 years to do that merc. i'm not sure he builds them for anybody else seeing that he turned down a mid 6 figure offer for that one.

Kelvinator was part of American Motors back in the day. Does that count?

Awesome work. Keeping body panels close to a scale would be my hardest part. I can't imagine the hours he has spent at the english wheel. Thanks for sharing

Kelvinator was my first thought when I read the title of this thread.
My 'ex' and I bought a side-by-side Kelvinator refrigerator right after we were first married years ago. The thing was built like a tank and ran forever.

We had an actual "AMC" branded fridge from the mid 70's until we sold the house in the late 80's.

It was a purple fade color.
