Chiefs or Buccaneers

Looks to me like KC was reading the newspaper articles about how great they are and Tampa read their Game plan and executed it . I think Tampa's defense should have been MVP. Not Brady
Defense was great, Brady got em over the hump

I got to admit it, Brady is the best there ever was. And how can you not like a lumbering oaf like Gronk.

Who cares about the college days.

And I assure you no one cares who you don't like. lol

Brady was Brady.

Bucs defense kept Mahomes from being Mahomes.

...although he did have some absolutely great looking incomplete passes.
That last one where he was parallel to the ground and managed to hit the receiver in the face while in the end zone.....

Yea that was funny. Mahomes is a wizard but no man is an island.
Someone said it's a team effort, Brady had lots of support. Give him a running game and a little time and he will embarrass your defense. Ask Andy Reid and Matt LeFleur.

I was glad seeing tyreek hill get a taste of his own medicine, oh and Tony Romo got triggered from that too,. So funny

Yep that was a good old-fashioned big brother *** kicking! I could only stomach about 10 minutes. I can't comment on the whole game but what I watched it wasn't even competitive.

Unfortunately as a chiefs fan, it was ugly! TB physically dominated. Patrick was running for his life. We were totally outcoached. the week 12 game was their blue print and they adjusted. of course you have to have the horses to pull it off.

good news is when your team gets to the Super Bowl and does not win, and you consider it a bad year, you know you are heading in the right direction.

Clearly Brady id the GOAT, but I still believe Mahomes will go down as the greatest QB of all time, when it's all said and done!

I got to love your optimism, and trust me the chiefs are cool, but when you get man handled on both sides of the ball at the level they did after being the defending champions man I can't see that moving in the right direction. I think a lot of their weaknesses were exploited and next year teams will pile on.

We shall see...............Vegas already has them as the favorite to win next year........LOL

Mahomes only needs to win 7 more, right.....

I like him. Very talented.

Coaching definitely played a huge part. Almost looked like a different TB team than played them the first time.
Not only were they better, they had a completely different plan.

I'm kind of surprised there wasn't more pre-game mention of TB's turnaround vs NO while discussing their loss to KC earlier in the season. NO clobbered them the first time.

Also surprised about all the Hill/Kelce hype and almost no mention of the four QUALITY receivers and 2.5 QUALITY TE's on the Buc's team.
For that matter I heard much more about the KC pass rush than I did about all the TB quality D players getting noticeably better every game.
All of that was right there for anyone to see.

KC needs some more playing pieces.

If TB can keep theirs, I look for them to repeat :)

I don't have a dog in this fight, not a fan of either team.

But based on comments during the game that the KC had an injury in the offensive line (in the last game?) that shifted people in 3 positions, this wasn't the same team that got to the SB.

Seems like if this is true, it would make some sense why Mahomes was chased so much, and why it seemed like the TB defense was so tough. And it would partially explain why it felt so lopsided.

Add that Mahomes was playing injured.

Now, this doesn't mean that KC didn't get out coached.

All I am saying is that the outcome might not reflect the true potential of either team.

Besides, anyone that can throw a ball when he is horizontal to the ground and hit his receiver in the face mask is someone that should possibly be feared if he has an o-line that is capable of protecting him.

Tampa has such a great DL and the 2 LBs are awesome. The whole team is stacked everywhere. KC needs some guys that are more physical. Their WR for KC are fast but they aren’t nearly as complete as TB.

There were a lot of no calls on the Bucs.
KC did their fair share of offensive holding without penalty. meh, anyway..
KC and TB, two of the most exciting teams to watch along with Green Bay. Any of them could beat each other on any given day. KC had a bad day on the wrong day, wish it would have been a better game.

Here’s a no call on the Bucs. Everything Kansas City did, it was called. Even the commentators said that there was a lotta calls on Kansas City that shouldn’t of been called.

The penalties were so bad I turned it off before halftime, left and went and had a fire up in the hills. I don’t care much for either team but I can’t stand penalties especially ticky tack ones.

Penalty yards in the first half

Kansas City - 98 yards

Tampa Bay. - 5 yards

I think that's all you need to see.

I saw a few no calls on KC as well including a couple of face masks.

I started to think as posted above that there were too many calls on KC, but it calmed down late in the 2nd.

DPI on Mike Evans is easy to do for a LOT of teams CB's. IIRC he got more penalty yards than catch yards in that game.

I actually disagreed with the late roughing the passer call on TB. Mahomes ended up in between two big pass rushers.
No one pushed him or slung him.

Mahomes ran for 497 yards BEFORE throwing the ball or getting sacked. The dude didn’t have a chance with that o-line. Also, he got ZERO help from his receivers and TE’s who literally couldn’t catch throws that hit them in the face.
Was the reffing a little one sided early? Yes. Did it make a difference in the end? Highly unlikely. KC just got manhandled in every aspect of that game!

As for talks of mahomes going down as the best QB ever, I don’t see that happening either. Don’t get me wrong, he’s phenomenal and can do things that no other NFL QB ever has, but don’t only does he have to win 7 more Super Bowls and break every passing record, if him and Brady never face each other in the postseason again, he’ll always be 0-2 in the playoffs against Brady. Losing in the AFC championship game in 2019 and now the Super Bowl. He’s got a steep hill to climb.

I don't disagree with you at all, but here's a question for you (and anyone else). If Mahomes was on the Bucs and Brady was on the Chiefs, do you see the outcome being any different in that game? I sure don't. That o-line would've gotten Brady killed.

Brady didn’t win the super bowl, TB defense won the super bowl.

If Brady is the best QB, why did he cheat?

Once a cheat, always a cheat.
