Clean and reuse fouled plugs

I've read that media blaster will leave metal on the porcelain

My experience is that cleaned plugs never worked in my 340 dart as good as a new set. I always had a new set in for a race, then again they were less than a buck a pop. My lawnmower, I never changed or cleaned them unless it started running like ****.

Oh I forgot because I forget, if you get your tune up where it's supposed to be the plugs will clean themselves

I run cheap plugs, I drop one, I don’t use it. $2.50 a plug? I have never had good luck cleaning them.

For my motor there are no cheap plugs to be had. Not cold enough for 13.5:1 compression. Good news is if the motor is right they will last for 2+ years of racing.

seems like a waste of time. if you can afford to race, pony up for plugs rather than spending the money to get to the track, entrance and everything else then risk not having peak performance
