How involved was it to shave the flange that joins the cowl to the firewall?
Do you think you lose any stuctural strenth?
I love the look and would like to do that to my car.

I wouldn't mind seeing a exterior picture of the 63.... I think the next mopar I get it will be in 62-65 range. Really I want Belvedere but would consider others. I want a big block car again but this time be a old one.

Cant wait till I stuff my 505 in it :)

Will those intakes fit a 383 or a 440?

mine was for an RB block 413-440 part # STR-14. You can get them for B block 383-400 part # STR-15 but even harder to find than the RB. You could get the top(lid) in either a single carb, dual inline carb or dual cross ram like mine. I paid $1500 for mine about 4 years ago on ebay....#-o

Did Ma Mopar paint the entire underside of the car as well?
At some point I would like a clean engine bay to post pics of, and my car has undercoating on it, so I was wondering how far the color goes in the engine bay and what it covers.

Here is my addition to this thread, 1965 Dart GT converted to disc brakes, and completely stripped and painted. These photos were pre-disc brake and K-member conversion.

If I hadn't said it before, these photos of all your engine compartments are awesome and should bring many ideas for others to the table :)
