[WANTED] Cometic Head Gaskets

All,
I have a 367 cube eingine (.040) that needs a set of 060 cometic head gaskets. Having no luck finding any comercially and are on on back order til aug 2 in some cases. Trying to reduce the static compression on a zero deck engine with some Indy heads that have the chambers opened to 64.5 cc's from 62cc's. Going for a high compression iron head engine around 10.1 compression to run 93 pump gas.

@mario03srt FWIW, I run a .030 over 360 with zero deck slugs & TF heads with a .028 Cometic on 93.

No I did not because everywhere is out and the last date I from from Summit and Jegs is August. But it's always worth a try. Thanks.

Cometic is quoting 6 weeks. Retailers are taking longer due to large lot sizes. They cannot get enough employees to meet production!

Call Jason @ cometic gaskets they do a special order for people, they probably have them in stock just not enough to fill orders for Summit or Jegs

This is all due to the COVID & the Feds printing money to fix what they think is broken. I’m not trying to be political here, but this is why. It is like a domino effect.
It will be a while before everything is corrected and back up and running like normal. Until then, everything is going to be slow. The new words of the day are,
“Be patient.” (Very!)
