So, I started on the Interior. Column had the usual key scrapes, so I taped it off and sprayed it.

Check out the radio that was in the Truck. Anyone remember Radio Shack. Look how the woodgrain matches

Pulled the front seat and carpet with my son. Really nice metal. Also painted the shifter handle. New Carpet is now installed. Just had to trim the top side a couple times.

After Carpet install, Shifter Handle painted, Brake and Clutch Arms painted. New bezel around Shifter

That's the cleanest 80's truck I have ever seen. The folk's that owned it before you really took care of it well.

That is sweet! My friend has a 33,000 mile 1985 slant six/727 truck that had been kept in an enclosed area that he bought from an impound lot. It still even has the factory AM radio in it. It's going to live again as a 360 motorhome powered (37,000 mile engine) NP-435 SWB with 3.55 sure grips and 35's. Most of the interior is "time machine quality" and makes me remember what it was like to look them on the lot back then at the dealer. Yours looks like it still smells new inside!

I have been into those trucks since before it was cool. I still have my dad's bone stock 1987 with slant six and 4 spd O/D. Factory radio......That's the only option.

Next up after the Demon.

Yea, it's a Mopar Just like the others we like

Went to work on the 80's sound system. Check out the speakers that were in the Truck- homemade. Found some 6x9 speaker boxes on eBay- 33 bucks shipped. There is a large plastic organizer behind the seat, so I bolted the boxes to the organizer. Sounds much better now.

Truck is coming along. The 225 runs real good. I have never had a newer Slant with hydraulic lifters. Really smooth. Scored a NOS shifter Ball. Can't believe it.
