if everything comes together as planned, and as advised by some experts
at quicktimeinc.com and Hurst Driveline....
the tr6060 6 speed tremec, will bolt up to any small block Dodge, la or magnum, any stock or performance 130 tooth flywheel for la or magnum will work, however you need to make sure internally or externally balance depending on your application
must use a 6.1L Challenger manual transmission starter
also 11 inch clutch will be the largest possible, it our case will go dual disc since we will be above 550hps.....
the rear of the crank may have to be machined, in our case we are getting a custom crank, so that issue will be taken care of at that time
the slave cylinder will have to reworked, modifying ours to 4an fittings and will plumb using customed made line, not a big deal
hedders will be an issue, like we dont already know that for an early a,
going to tti's, uncoated, since we are going to have to modfied the hedders, once all mods have been made, will have them coated, the issue is the right side, will have to clear the starter, since no torsion bar, lots of room to the outside,
quicktimeinc.com has a killer scattershield, a little pricey, 590.01, mine is ordered, my brand new tremec is ordered, need to be able to mock up to modify the floor, cant do that without a bolted up transmission.....
by the way, if you ever think of using a stock bellhousing for anything but a stock street car your a fool, i saw more than one exploded clutch/ flywheels in my days, fortunatelly not mine, nothing more dangerous than a stock bellhousing
