do chains really stretch?

I soak the chain in motor oil over night before installing. If you don't you are assuming the manufacturer properly lubricating it for you. Assuming anything is no good. I also squirt a good amount of motor oil on the chain right before I bolt the oil pan on.

Hay that's a good idea. Cause if you don't think metal is porous to some degree, you gotta nuther thang comin. lol
