3200 ish pound 74 Duster, true pump gas stroker, victor intake, roller cam, went as fast as 132 mph this past summer during drag week, averaged 10.20’s with a mediocre( high 1.4xx) 60 foot and mismatched convertor. Car completed dragweek successfully. Once sorted out, that car should dip into the 9’s in good air on pump gas.
I have zero interest in peddling anything. I own a car lot, i am involved with that 6 days a week. What tiny bit of money could be made selling a few sets of heads(even if i was in the loop to do so, and wanted to, i am not) wouldnt be worth my time, frankly.
These heads arent an assembly line deal. Vic hand finishes and does the valve job himself on every set produced.
Its not a high volume deal. They arent cheap, trick flows are less, all said and done. Mopar people are cheap skates.

Boy, you hit the cheap skate part right out of the park! And anything that don't look stock or won't use stock parts (offset rockers) makes them run to their safe closet. Then guys wonder why there isn't much aftermarket support. Why would there be? When most of the feed back is pi$$ing and moaning.

these aren't offset. Take standard rockers, but you are correct about cheapskate. These are around 2 k without hardware

its true John, you have been around as long as me. I have zero clue why you would argue about the truth of that.
You should hear guys ***** about the cost of entry fees at events like Monster Mopar.
I had guys bitching about paying a 20 dollar entry fee to race in my 11.50 index race that paid 750 to win, 350 runner up, 150 semi’s, 75 1/4’s… twenty bucks..lol

I am very aware the initial Bloomer head was a dud…and said so. I dont owe Rod or anybody else anything. I respect him, because, like me, he has been a sponsor at Monster Mopar and gotten in his own wallet( like me) to further Mopar racing
The new head has nobody designing it that was involved on the first head. I think people don't understand this.
If you dont like what i post dont read it.
Not trying to piss anybody off. Just offer good info on a product i have some insight into. Others obviously dont
Its not like its a billion dollar business making a head virtually nobody has heard of in a very small market.
I urge people to buy what they want, nothing will make me a dime one way or the other no matter what they buy or dont buy

That's my point ...if you know so much about them ...how come you don't start a thread about them and show and help people make a focused educated decision instead of poking into others threads.

if you go back and reread this thread, the OP brought up the Bloomer heads early on.
I actually provided info nobody else on here has,…. a back to back comparison on the Airwolfs( which nobody on here has or is likely to ever own) and the trick flows at the track. Real world results. I actually race and go down the track. Discussions in a race only forum about a head nobody on the whole forum is likely to ever have has very limited value…your opinion may vary. Its internet racing, not track racing.
Very few, if any, of the cylinder head threads dont discuss multiple heads. If they aren't compared what good is any info?

The pissin match is for the birds. I don't have a god in the hunt, but I will say this. Obviously "somebody" knows more about these heads than anyone else "here" and knows enough to post up a dedicated thread with all the info, pictures or not. Otherwise, it seems more of a distraction. Kinda like an aluminum slant six head. Oh wait, there are pictures of a few of those.

I’m going to pick one part of your post.

races like monster Mopar. A select few only race two, maybe three times a year. You know the type. There’s a reason my friends call races like the monster Mopar race “the oil-down nationals”. It’s because of races like this where guys go unprepared to hit the race tracks. My Mopar friends that race at Keystone, Quaker city, Norwalk, Dragway 42, are not cheap. They are out there paying a 1/3 premium on a limited choice of parts because they love their Mopars. Like I said the LS Chevy guys take the cake, and there are a million of them out there buying used lifters and rods. I see it at the track and I see it on Facebook marketplace. You say Mopar guys are to cheap to buy offset rocker heads. I’ll say you are wrong there too. Most guys don’t need offset rocker heads. Most Mopar guys are street-strip guys that are happy test n tuning a few times a year and are happy running 11’s with combos that should be running 10’s. A select few will go to a Mopar only race to be with guys like themselves, Mopar guys.

I brought up offset rockers, I agree most guys don't need them, but those are the guys who complain the most about it.

GM has made their LS stuff user friendly and supports their gearheads. Ma Mopar, not so much. I think they consider us knuckle draggers.

i have no pictures of them, have a general idea of flow numbers( but flow numbers are flow numbers) but i do know they made very good power on a real, live in the flesh car at the track… i have shared that, dont know what else i can share other than call Bloomer if you want to and request figures and price.
I also shared that the guy who developed them is the sharpest small block guy i know. I have shared all i can share.

I agree with most everything you say to be honest through most all of your posts but I do take offense when people say Mopar people are cheap skates, I spend whatever money it takes and or have to get built or done what I'm working on. I actually think a more fair statement would be that Mopar people are like the news.......the only news you hear about is bad news.
 
When I say Mopar guys are cheap skates I mean as a whole. Put a high hp engine with good parts up for sale and see how many guys will offer you half of what you are asking. That's why I have a bunch of parts on a shelf in the shop, I don't want to have to deal with people who want something for nothing.

The guys who go fast will spend the money and put in the work to do it.

That's the norm, it has nothing to do with Mopar guys being cheap or not. If a person can recoup 50% of his investment on an engine or race parts he is doing very good and that doesn't change whether it's Chevy or Ford either.
