Dougs Headers and gaskets

-
Ok gang, I'm getting ready to install my 453,s onto a 360 in a 68 Valiant. I only want to do this once. The Dougs Instructions call for Ultra copper rtv on their supplied gaskets. If there is a better gasket, or installation that has worked for you, I would like to here about it. I have read a bit about the REMFLEX gaskets, and I am considering a pair of those with some ARP bolts. Let me know what worked best(Can of worms officially opened):)
Part#s appreciated

I just put a set of 453's on mine and used Felpro gaskets impregnated with steel , and right off the %$#$ bat they leaked right at the bottom of the forward port drivers side. Pulled the gasket and sure as hell there was a burn mark going out the bottom. Next ????

Instead of using the gaskets supplied with the Doug's headers, I went with Percy's Seal-4-Good gaskets (reusable mls soft aluminum) Go on dry, torque'd, and after engine break-in and a few hundred miles still no leaks, bolts needed to be re-torqued as instructed. No leaks at all regardless. Will see how they do over a longer period. I'd rather try and get a seal dry vs. having to goop.Percy's Seal-4-Good Header Gaskets 66037
