E-Town tonight?

My Wife & I are going into Jersey this afternoon for a graduation party. We're not going to be too far from E-town. Tonight ( after said party....) is the Snap On night of thrills show. Dumb question:

Anyone from here going? My Wife wants to go, so I guess if I have to go to the dragstrip, I will.....

Whatta day! At noon we visit with my wife's family for a graduation dinner at a nice resturaunt. Great time.... great food.... We go back to their house, change our clothes, and decide to gas up and go to the track since we were about 20 minutes away. We stop for gas and the kid starts complimenting us on the GTI, which I just detailed and it looks bitchin.... I happen to ask him directions to the track to double-check the directions we recieved earlier. He mentions that he has a pair of free passes and GIVES them to me! Kid saved me $50! We drive to the track and get pit-side parking with these passes. We walk in and manage to weasel our way on line to see Rick, Cody, & Vinny from Orange County Choppers. Not only does my wife get her OCC shirt signed by all three, she get's her picture taken with each of them. She's in heaven.... (she has this thing for Vinny....) We walk into the grandstands and score a spot about 100' from the starting line and watch jet cars, nitro & alcohol rails & floppers, some nitro Harleys, and wheelstanders. Then we hit the pits, munch on a snack, wander around, and it's now dark. Has anyone ever seen nitro at night? Or jet cars? AWESOME! Right after the second round we grab the car and boogie outta there. I should have pictures up either tomorrow or Monday. I have some nice shots...



All in all, it was a fun day between family and fun.The things I do to make my wife happy.....

:thumrigh: Pictures were taken with a 35MM camera. I have to have them develpoed and tranfered to CD disc.
