Thanks for the pics and especially, THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE. Thanks for keeping us safe. Sounds like you have a great attitude and that will help get you through. We pray often for all of you guys and gals that are over there. God bless.

Wish I would have taken pictures during Desert Storm. Over the years you do tend to forget, fortunately you tend to remember the good things.....Unfortunately the bad ones don't fade very quickly. Be safe over there!!!

Well guys I think it's about time to get caught up on some pics over the past month or so.

Ok the first 2 are durin gmy trip through Kuwait going back to the states.
3rd one is from Atlanta Airport the night I flew back to Iraq.
4th one is over the ocean somewhere I believe.
5 and 6 are a couple of sunsets.
And the last one is my 250k robot I get to play with. You can see the massive sand storm in the background.

X2
Took plenty of pics later, wish I had taken them during the invasion and right after. It does tend to fade, like the good reasons you had for getting out lol, and yup there are somethings that you wish you could forget that you never will.

Your pics Dusted, sure bring back some memories.

That Mc Ds sign in Arabic is just SOOOOO wrong:( I'm surprised Ronald isn't wearing a head scarf!

On the rest... nice shots!!

Well it's been a few weeks and what better time then today to start it back up? So here are few from the past couple of weeks. The first couple show the spirit of the people around here.

Pic #1. We came across a school that was being let out, I waved at probably 150 kids that day. You can see some waved and yelled toward us and some even gave me peace signs.

Pic #2. Even the older crowd got in on the hospitality as I drove past he gave me a thumbs up.:thumblef:

Pic #3. Shows some of the water from an early morning rain shower as well as a friendly reminder not to mess around in that area.

Pic #4. Not sure what the building is but I thought the architecture was amazing.

Pic #5. My ugly mug yesterday in Baghdad.

Thanks for these photos. It's good to know the place can be somewhat hospitable, with friendly faces, and without heat and dust storms.

Edit: Happy Veteran's Day, Corey.

Yes,hospitable wasnt a word I thought would apply to Iraq but it looks as if at least some of the citizens are glad your there.

It's really good to see you smile while riding around in Iraq! Be safe..
