I am running an Edelbrock Performer (500 cfm) with an electric choke. In the past it has started right up hot or cold. Recently it had an issue with the choke not shutting off when the engine warmed. Since it had to go into the shop for some head work anyway I told them to fix the carb too. I also had a new Summit Racing performance ignition system installed. Now the car runs better than ever once its going, but its very difficult to start when hot. I spoke to the mechanic and he is blaming the new ignition system for the difficulty. I think its the carb so I am looking for some advice as to how to fix it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
