Engine Bay Has Paint !!!

Blacked out the grille area today.
Starting to go through the wire harness as well. Cheers !!!!!! 8)

My younger brother and I painted a horse tailor in a home made 1'' PVC put together then we covered it with plastic like that back in the day :-D
Yes we called it a hillbilly paint booth also Johnny Dart :happy10:

Got this car back together last week, and now am doing the test and tunning part. Starting to get it dialed in !

did you use the kirker paint for that? also how big of a compressor did you have for the spray of the engine bay. i only ask because i am getting ready to spry omaha orange on my 69 and have everything but a larger compressor.

The car tunning is coming along great. 360 power,no...but if you choose your battles wisely, its kind of fun.....:thumrigh:

The only way to make it better at this point would be to get it on a Dyno.....

Looking forward to some southern rock for the garage,cant wait !!!!!!

Shopline PPG single stage and a crappy Sears compressor.
We painted the EB only,the car was already painted.
66valiant Dave from the website came over and sprayed it for me.
He is a self trained painter. Everybody knows the story about his 66.

Again, very nice job; you make me want to have my entire Dart painted.
I was by the engine shop today, and they're waiting on Edelbrock parts to come in. They just received the drop forged pistons, timing chain, etc., so things are progressing.

thats the color cal trans uses on they're trucks and equipment.it's a fleet color,wish the b3 petty color was a fleet color.nice looking car!
