this seems like as good a place to post this as any
(i actually like the look, but i think it would look better on a two door truck)

This Mustang-Inspired Ford F-150 Fastback Is Real, and Yes, You Can Buy It

unless they bought the truck to pull stuff

i think it would look pretty cool hauling a trailer with a real fastback on it

It’s probably removable though. When you were not going to be hauling stuff, it would help with mpg.
There was a guy on ecomodder.com that had done some aero stuff to an F150 with something like that years ago. The rear of your vehicle does as much to kill fuel economy as the front.

Kinda defeats the whole purpose of a truck I do not like it.

I'd lay odds that 50% of truck owners (outside of rural areas) don't put anything in the bed that would interfere with that cover. Just like all the 4x4's with funky wheels and rubber band tires, it's an image statement for many.

I dunno. I kinda like it. Now watch, ford will start styling the trucks to look like mustangs.

If it has more conveniences than my house... its not a truck.

In my neck of the woods a lot of us haul our thrash to the dump. Police write a lot of tickets for loads not covered too. I like that bed cover.

Looks more like a giant Dodge Caliber, or an Aztec, one-time voted the ugliest vehicle of the year.
I like the clam-shell idea.........
but not that I'd need a stepladder to get stuff out of the front, and then there's no room for my manly chest to get in between the shell and the side... oh-oh. So now I need a tool; or I gotta hire the neighbors kid to get my stuff. I might as well stick with an SUV with rear doors that open into the cargo area. And a bed about a foot lower to the ground. Just how high are the beds gonna get? Where's it gonna end?

Agreed, truck beds are way too high to load a block by hand, need a damn cherrypicker to get them that high.
