Figured out why my Duster was so slow

I had the same No-performance issue. 2 more cylinders and 10 more spark plugs make a big difference.

Looks faster already. This is a stock rebuild of a 2005 engine that came with the car when I bought it.

Yes, I’m going to be making the engine mounts so I’ll box it in and make it look nice.

Notching it for the oil filter, I presume. The Milodon pans fit without notching. Could run a remote filter and not have to cut anything.

No, I notched it for pan clearance. I’m using the slant k-member so it maybe due to that.

It was tough because I left the transmission in place so I could locate the engine. I’m making my engine mounts because I’m too cheap to spend $300 on something I can make myself plus I’m using the slant k-member, so the TTI mounts probably would need tweaking.

Nobody’s going to confuse it with Realwing’s or Alex5280’s work, but it’s getting closer.
