finally found the car i wanted but you will hate me

by the way, the gauges are coming out, im putting all new autometers in there, ive just gotta figure out a way to put in my cd player without cuttin anything up

Just stick in on the floor in between the seat if you want to keep the dash nice. Unplug it and take it with you when you get out....JK!

well think of it this way........ if you already cannot tell how many Cylinders it has just by looking at it......then odds are WORKING on it is going to be a REAL TREAT!!! I believe you have to remove the left front tire, to remove the front 2 spark plugs which requires a 20+ inch extension..... those motors are set back into the bay and part of them is actually UNDER the windshield & dash making access to pretty much ANYTHING a total PITA. Hopefully you do not ever intend on taking it out in anything that even looks like snow, or you will discover PDQ the concept of "lost traction" c'mon to Detroit area, there are hundreds of them rotting in yards all over the place.....these things have the same relative"worth" ( not $ value) as a 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood or a Frank Sinatra Imperial....they re all very attractive cars, that no one wants.
HOWEVER if this is your dream car, buy it trade for it and build it the way you want it.....

Bottom Line: If you like the car and it will serve your purpose, you can afford it, then get it. Have fun living the American Dream! Drive and enjoy it, keep it that nice and it will hold a decent value for the next guy if you decide to sell it.

By the way, I would just get a decent amp with RCA inputs, gat a 1/8 to RCA patch cable, and use an iPod for the tunes.

haha, i jumped on here thinking that today you changed your mind once more, and now decided to try and trade for a pinto or something.lmao

Ive found a 85 chevy camaro berlinetta that my dads best friend has, 97,000 miles t tops red with red interior, 305, but i dont understand what the berlinetta package is, he will trade me for my truck, only thing wrong with it is that it smokes at start, but thats the valve stem seals.

heres exactly what it looks like

sure hope you never hit anything with it, those cars are junk in a wreck. The body is too flimsy..I guess you can weld in hd frame parts..and put n roll bar, that would toughen it up.

You still have the low hood line that prevents using any good intake with a carb without it sticking out of the hood. There are some nice after market hoods that look good

You can go crazy and spend tons of money on those cars....I rather would have a 70's Charger..any year expect those fwd ones

people still want those cars--in great shape. Here by Detroit most are all gone, they rusted away by our long winters. Not so much now but back before 2000 or so, salt was dump by the tons even in April. The streets would be dusted with salt every night just about, they use to grind it up more like a power.

I think with anti lock brakes there was less need for as much salt and too much salt ruins the wheel sensors the newer cars have. They still dump the salt but not from Nov to April for every light snow fall, even just a dusting of snow the city would salt every major street--even subs after a 1/8 of an inch

That is why those cars are all junk, yes they hold the road awful in the snow, so many got hit. Same in the rain, maybe a bit better.

The 2000's are still in nice shape but very few from 1985, i tell you thou, its got no air bags, no anti lock brakes, not too much smog stuff--to remove, lol

You put $10,000 in to it, well maybe $15,000, it could be a bad *** car...or would it be closer to $20,000 when all said and done
