Im currently in the market for a set of finned valve covers i was hopping to see what my options would be

These are old Cal Customs. They were sold under different names casted in the centers but the same basic casting.

I paint them winkle and polish the edges with a fine rubber deburring wheel.

It would be a big help to know what you're looking to fit: 5-bolt LA or 10-bolt Magnum?

Most common I have seen in this order:
M/T
MP cast
Cal Custom
Holley (M/T style)
Weiand badged MP style
Edelbrock scripted
Offy (wow, cool!)

maybe some I missed...
(all pics shamelessly ripped from the internet for reference only, and props to HustlinA!)

All work well, some need clearancing on intake runners or need extra thick gaskets to keep flange off runner. dont torque any past about 6 ft/lbs or you can break off corners.

HustlinA's sold units look very nice in this livery

The Mopar Performance WIDE valve covers are by far, my favorite of any SB valve cover...

LA block id love to get my hands on a set of cal customs or M\T even if there in the roughest shape but there always a little to steeply priced for this high school kid

The M/T, Holley, and Cal Custom covers offer customizing possibilities as well. Here's a set of M/Ts that CudaChick68 whipped into shape for me, GTGrinly made the decals to my specs for the results you see here.

I milled off the M/T on a set and was going to put a 403 call out (STD. bore stroker) but sold them, those wide bodies are tits! Whats the part number? I saw a drop dead set of Pontiac valve covers, super heavy cast AL and 5 ribs over polished ala Cal Custom but the ribs were bigger, $139 new! The as cast plain ones are cool too. Never fond of the sheetmetal ones, but Ill probably run into a set Ill buy sooner or later.

Those wide MP covers are called W8 valve covers and cost....ALOT!

I'm into the finned ole' school covers, I have a pair of these A F/X covers for a small block chevy, I'd do some serious mopar parts tradein' if I could ever find a pair of these for a 383/440..

never weighed the offys,, but thickest heaviest valve cover ive ever seen or had,,

You missed another "finned" style - the Eddy Elite series. Had them on my 318 in my previous car (pictured). I finally returned to them for my stroker in my '68 cuda, after buying a set of MTs and some fabbed covers. Like the Offy's as well, but by their style to me they just seem more suited to mid '60s and below cars, more than later years.

Here is a before and after of a set I just picked up a couple weeks ago used from a fabo member......I made them my own. And I did the same with a used air cleaner I got from another member

these pics are progressive from when I got them until I finished them.

gotta love the old school look you get from finned covers.

my holleys are up for sale now by the way!.
