Oh-Oh. The loose wheel might just have been the culprit. Like I said, something has to be LOOSE, or bent. You may have inadvertently just diagnosed it yourself, right there.
-And on to the wheel bearing adjustment. Yes. There is a procedure for tightening that castlenut and if you have slider type calipers I like to set them on the tight side of the spec. so the pads dont get knocked back too far. I know its splitting hairs, but some guys are habitual late brakers, and need all the help they can get.
