My son ran the Memorial Day Mega-Bucks race at Tulsa Raceway Park this weekend.
He was doubled entered.
He Won & Runnered up on Saturday.
He got down to 6 cars on Sunday.
It made for a $2400.00 pay day.
Only 2 MoPar's in the whole field!
My buddy got down to 3 cars on Sunday in his '71 Cuda.

Gettin' it done when the big bucks are on the line, I love it. Congratulation! I'm sure he'll remember this weekend for a while. :thumleft:

Looks like a weekend we would all like to have.

Congrats to your son. A payday like that is usually followed with a list of parts to make it faster/better.....:burnout: :thumleft:

It did follow with a list of parts, but they are for the other RaceCar that I'm putting together for him.
Hope to be running two cars in next couple of months.

Congrats Mike. Parker must have really been on his game. What is this second car you speak of? I have not heard about it yet. Jim

Jim, it's a 1967 Notch-back Barracuda.
Back half car / tubbed, Dana / Ladder bar / full cage.
I'm putting a W2 head 414 small block in it with a 904 T/brake.
Going get his feet wet in Super Pro.
We will probably run it in No-box & No-E also.

He will continue to race the Demon in No-E.
The Demon is like a security blanket to him. LOL

Parker was on for sure, his last 3 rounds before he had to race himself was .009, .003, & .008 on the tree. He also pretty good at driving the stripe.

Sounds like a low 10 sec ride. I'm sure he'll do well. He can definitely drive.
