Ok thanks I will remeasure and write down what I find. I also found that the 8 1/4 rear is a ISO Clamp which is a bite in the butt
with your 8 3/4, earlier U-bolts, and shock plates, you can elimate the clamp and rubbers. the springs are the same as any other, nothing special
wow that much difference? you must have an early 8 3/4. mine is 47" from center to centerWell my housing won't work. I measured and my son measured too the 8 1/4 is 47 1/2 in -/+ from the pin to pin under the car. My 8 3/4 Housing is only around 44 in -/+ So for now the 8 1/4 stays.

hmmm, i dont know if the tabs on the back part of the k member are going to make it. it looks like you may want to just take it all apart. i have a feeling its going to crumble into pieces when you pull the bushing out. if it were me, i would drop the k member.
ops: No worries Cliff,I find you another !!!Well my housing won't work. I measured and my son measured too the 8 1/4 is 47 1/2 in -/+ from the pin to pin under the car. My 8 3/4 Housing is only around 44 in -/+ So for now the 8 1/4 stays.
