My fiance and I moved into our house on the first weekend in Aug and on the 4th I had a heart attack. My right artery was 100% blocked and the left was 90%, don't know how I was able to do all the moving and work without any symptoms.
Just got back to work yesterday and feel better than I have in quite some time. My blood pressure, which was never high is now down to 108 over 67 which is excellent, and the cholesterol in 155 so I shouldn't have to take any drugs except the blood thinner to keep the stents open. The echo didn't show any damage to the heart, thank God, and I only spent 48 hrs in the hospital.
If any of you have heart issues in your family it is much less painful and less expensive to get checked than to go thru the pain and expense I went thru I would encourage all of you who might be at risk to get checked.
Can't wait to get back on the Dart and get the 360 in.

Glad to hear that you are A-ok and on the mend. Pls take your time and dont rush the Dart. She is patient and will be waiting for you.

Very glad to hear you are OK. I started getting body scans every few years a while back just to make sure I don't have any time bombs ticking away. I am overdue for one now. In the last one I just had very minor plaque in one heart artery and one carotid artery. I really need to improve my diet and get back to training.

I was so out of it that I tried to drive myself to the hospital. Finally pulled over and called 911 and made the rest of the trip in the ambulance.
We have a new hospital in Kyle TX and they are heart specialists I was in the recovery room just 1 1/2 hrs after arriving.

Bruce, I was wondering where you've been and just thought you were busy with your new lady.......... Thankfully, it sounds like you are okay. Take care and good advice you're passing along.

Bruce, I thought the same thing Cheryl did ... enjoying the new life in the new digs. I'm relieved to learn you're getting back on your feet. Please keep us posted and let me know if you need anything I can help with from here. Thoughts and prayers are with you my friend!

Wow, glad to Hear your doing better Bruce. My dad passed away last year after complications from a heart attack so I know how important it is to get checked out. Take it easy and keep us posted.

I am glad you didn't keel over and die like a horse!!!! Glad you're okay buddy!!!

Congrats on getting through this so well, it can be pretty scary! Did they do stints?

I had 5 of these incidents (not officially called a heart attack) exactly 3 years ago, before my dumb *** went to the hospital. 4 arteries 95%, so they put in 4 stints. It changed my life for sure.

Another reminder that everyday is a blessing. I'm glad to hear you feel better and are still with us. MMG

Thanks for the good advice and take care of yourself.Glad it wasnt worse for you.

Glad to hear it turned out ok. It's amazing what can be done to fix the heart these days and how easy it seems to do. On the other hand, it only takes seconds for it to go bad if not checked. Good advice there about getting checked.

I see a dr 4 to five times a year and so fare so good, but he may not be looking for this :dontknow: he check's my blood pressure and and it's always been good :happy10: My youngest brother had a stint put in at the young age of 34. after three wives and a deferent life style then me
