I know its not the HP move, but an Edelbrock tech just told me that it may not be possible to completely cure the bog in my current set up.
Any thoughts?

I edited your title.I want to install a Holley instead of the Edel...
LOL!I think the Eddy tech you had on the phone was doing 'shrooms.
You have told Us nothing, except an embarrassment of a 'Tech' has basically said...."sorry our carbs suck, You'll have to buy a competitor's carb to fix it", ..........I want to install a Holley instead of the Edel...
Make sure yo get a 4 corner idle circuit carburetor if going with a holley. Especially if it has a larger cam. you will be able to idle off the secondaries . Otherwise you will be drilling holes in the primary venturi valves as pictured to keep the primaries squared. Also good to get one with removable air bleeds so you can fine tune it with the carb in place. Quick fuel carbs work good for me . but Holley proform are good. Just more cash.I want to install a Holley instead of the Edel...
Be sure you know the difference between a "bog" and a tip-in hesitation. Each is cured differently.I know its not the HP move, but an Edelbrock tech just told me that it may not be possible to completely cure the bog in my current set up.

Hey, sorry guys for not answering your questions sooner!I know its not the HP move, but an Edelbrock tech just told me that it may not be possible to completely cure the bog in my current set up.

What adapter? A square bore carb is a square bore carb. No adapters needed unless you're trying to mix and match square bore and spread bore manifolds and carbs. What I'm asking is it possible to use an adapter to put a Holley on the existing e brock manifold. I know it won't be ideal.
So a Holley will just bolt up? How about intake brackets? What adapter? A square bore carb is a square bore carb. No adapters needed unless you're trying to mix and match square bore and spread bore manifolds and carbs.
Okay, an Eddy 1906 is a 650 cfm AVSII. Pretty dang good carb, right out of the box. Get your primaries squared away then address your air valve and pump shot.Hey, sorry guys for not answering your questions sooner!
Problem-- If you flat foot it, it goes dead lean for a second or so. Right off idle, or rolling, makes no difference.
carb AVS 1906
cam specs - see pic
heads - ebrock RPM (stock)
I do have a AFR gage installed
Street driven-- done w/ drags, at least for now.
Tuning steps - see pic - I followed the ebrock carb tuning guide. In short, it idles fine, part throttle fine, cruse fine. Right now I'm one step rich on jet/rod on primaries from stock. Tried richer secondaries, but did not help.
Air valve - adjusted so it hits fine, except on WOT
The ebrock tech suggested going to the silver springs and continue to play with the air valve. He did say this it's possible to still have some bog.
What I'm asking is it possible to use an adapter to put a Holley on the existing e brock manifold. I know it won't be ideal.
Thanks in advance for any advice/help/suggestions.

The only thing you have to change/add is the Holley Mopar throttle lever adapter, similar to the one you put on your Edelbrock carb. (You DID use the Eddy throttle adapter, right?)So a Holley will just bolt up? How about intake brackets?
You might have too big of a shot.A few more things to know:
This is a new build
The pump shot is set to max
I run a fuel pressure regulator set at 6 lbs
I'm running the 31 squirter
3.55 gears
