In the process of gathering parts required for my swap in my 65 valiant. What are the options for headders? Seeking advice from those who've been there. Thanks alot!

I have dougs in my 64 dart. works fine, you'll need a different fork and a mini starter and probably a different steering coupler. If I had to do it again I would go with a hydraulic clutch.

PS I have power steering.

I'm running TTI's. Very nice tight fit and works ok with the stock clutch linkage. They seal really nice and they sit high up and I haven't dragged them yet.
The only down side is the expensive mini starter if you are going to run the 10.5 flywheel, but when you have a ton of money in the car what's $300 more. I bought mine almost 8 years ago now so they could of gone up.

I put TTI's in my 65 Barracuda 340, 4-speed, 10.5 inch clutch, manual steering. They fit well, but I did have to re-route brake lines, battery to starter wire and some other wiring, plus shorten the steering column jacket, and take a BFH to one tube on the driver's side that touched the clutch linkage and to one tube on the passenger side that touched the idler arm. Also used the TTI recommended starter. Plus used a second gen driver's side motor mount biscuit to drop that side less than half an inch so the torsion bar didn't touch the header where it passed through them. I already had been running the right angle oil filter adapter.

I say they fit well. With a few mods. But they don't hang down or leak or rattle.

on an early abody i think the dougs will fit better with the smaller tubes, two piece tube on the driverside and snaller collector. tti on an early abody are tight as hell. only thing i'm not sure of is how either fit with a 4 speed.

Thanks guys

I think I'm gona go with Doug's. Reading there install instructions it seems I need to replace my clutch fork to a shorter one and use a certain starter. Anyone have experience with Doug's in a 340/4 speed? Would a standard Mopar mini starter work out or am I stuck with the other one?

Thanks
