Greetings All, Need input here, I am building a 69 Barracuda 383 4 spd, Full QA1 front w Power rack, mini-Starter, USA1 Stiff Kit, Z-bar assembly stays. Stock Heads
Not much in the way anymore. So my header options should increase I think. TTIs are not exciting me. B body Headers?, not sure if they work w a 4 speed.

I'm not sure about TTI, but Doug's has one set, #453 that fit about 90% of the Mopars any vehicle size. Maybe the same for big blocks .
QA might have some limitations, maybe give them a call.

Good luck

I am gonna assume that TTI's price is what does not excite you, but coming from a guy who went down the big block in a body with after market front suspension road TTi's fit and finish is superb. When it came to headers I bit the bullet and went with TTI because I wanted to install them once and never mess with them again. Whatever you decide to do good luck.

contact TTI and tell them your setup. They might surprise you. I don't think price and quality are an issue since you have gone first class on the rest of the front end.

There's always one of those companies that does custom stainle$$.

TTi for sure.

Thanks people, Ive worked so hard to make everything so perfect and I just think TTIs are unsightly.

Have you looked into Schumacher's for a B block? I don't know if they make any, I have Tri-y's on my 440.

I thank fubo for all you folkses input , all the forums help so much . I think my car will be like no other so I really want nice clean headers , its a 50 k S 383 4 spd. Deluxe bucket int. Stroked to 550 hp so she needs to flow, if I cant buy em I will make my own but those dam bow tie guys have a ton of great looking and reasonably priced options that we mope dudes n dudettes dont have. Id rather find some done but Im supa shallow and looks are everything . Heres another shot f youll. love the input . Thanks

If you go with Schumacher Tri-y's, I modified mine to work with the four speed z bar, was a simple modification. Can send you pics if you desire. I really like them.

Please do post photos, that would b great, As for my vision of a good lookin header I dont want exit tubes to rise , Id rather see them all drop thats all , I have room.

I used a set of Hedman 78030 headers. Passenger side was pretty much a bolt in. The drivers side required substantial reworking. The rear or #7 tube had to cut off and brought straight down. #5 tube had to be cut and tucked in to clear the steering box. Also a little rework for starter clearance. I should also mention the # 7 tube I made removable so it could be slid in from the top. Application 1971 swinger 383-4 speed. Manual steer (o.e. Box). Manual disc brake mc. (Stock location). O.E. z-bar with modifications. I can say my set up would not play nice with your u-joint placement. I did use a u-joint in place of the stock coupler in the original location. Shortened the column collar also. Best of luck. With time and a ton of patience, you can come up with what will work best for you.Swingn’.

Thanks All , Swingin can u put up some pics If ya can, love to see your work .

I guess it depends on what you think looks good. To me a set of fender well headers are artwork lol.

I also love huslers
