My granddaughter just came to get me to work on her Jeep, showing me her new heated "puffy" vest.
Immediately thought, I need one of those, - I'm always cold, my shop isn't heated.

I'm looking for your experience, best/worst of brand. battery, etc.

Thanks very much . .

The Milwaukee heated vests aren't cheap but they're good. The downfall is the giant battery.
The Ororo vests are good too and the battery is nice and small.
And try to stick with a heated vest, something that stays close to your body. I have 2 heated jackets but the vest is the go to for ice fishing or hunting.

SE Wisconsin here. Coldest part of me is always my toes and nose. I got a set of underarmor extreme thermo underwear, the old style fabric, before they changed it. It was stupid expensive, but worth every penny. Should have bought a couple more sets as the top is starting to show wear. My biggest problem is sweating wearing it.

I bought a Mil Toughshell jacket early February this year. A little heavy but no disappointments for me..............yet.
Others have had issues though per the reviews submitted. Maybe it's not "tough" enough......

Best thing I did to keep from freezing in the garage was to put in foam flooring. The jigsaw puzzle piece looking stuff. No more frozen feet standing by the workbench. Comes up easy if you need to wheel something heavy around.

I bought my wife a Milwaukee heated hoodie a year or so for dog walking....she says it works pretty good.
She just bought me a heated canvas jacket ( knockoff ) from Costco....its a really nice coat but the heat seems iffy so far...like it has a mind of its own. YMMV.
