Heater core AC vs Non-AC?

So along with my many little projects with my car i want to hook up the heater again, but who knows what condition its in since the last owner decided to disconnect it when he ripped out my AC.

Anyways, i looked on rockauto and it shows a difference between AC and non-AC in the heater core. What is this difference and could i use an AC heater core with the A/C hooked up?(though i might add A/C down the road.)
