Does anyone have a source for a body plug to fit in the hole where the heater core exits through the firewall?

What. Are. You. Working. On. ? Hole size may vary.
That said, the trim plate around the heater fittings is nothing more than a flat piece of steel with two holes for the connections to stick through.

Just cut another plate, omitting the holes and bolt it on with a foam gasket.
If you want plugs, measure the holes and go to the hardware store and find suitably sized plugs.

73 Duster. I was thinking of a plug for the hole. Something a little different than a square plate for an oval hole.

Okay, this is why it's important to say what you've got. '73 got a firewall redesign that changed many things- the pic I posted was for '72 and earlier A bodies. AC and non-AC cars were also different.
Here is a pic of a '73 AC firewall I borrowed from another thread- you can see the "oval" hole for the heater core connections here.

You'll have to supply us with some dimensions- offhand my first thought would be an early A firewall plug, approx. 2.9 x 1.3".

If that's not it, next time you're in the boneyard spend some time looking over all the pickup trucks- they're a goldmine for oval plugs of various sizes, used in the beds to cover tie down points and other various access holes.
For now, give us a measurement and maybe we can come up with something.

Thank you for posting the pics. The hole size is 2.5x1 of if I measured correctly. Yea a/c car without the heater core something not needed often in Florida.

If you don't find what you want I could design one and 3D print it for you.

The materials in hand available might not last in the long run but it would get the job done shortly term
