build it, dont buy it.......

I would worry about false triggering with the p/up wires bunched close to the coil neg wire. I would use a separate hole at the other end of the box for the p/up wires. Otherwise, good to see!

Not mine, just passing a commercial product nude shot to the DIYrs. Looks legit

I'd like to see holes around the sides for airflow to that very thin heat sink. I used a scrap piece of extrusion and mounted it to the intake, threading the other hole in the choke stove without drilling it bigger (they are different sizes) and adding a paper gasket. The sink is bare/unpainted and gets airflow under and over plus the module and sink compound is protected from water that could wash it out. Not show quality but it works well and keeps the module from overheating. Also made a coil bracket to hang from the brake booster.

It is a good idea to keep the coil neg wire away from the p/up wires..to avoid false triggering. That is why:
- the pick up terminals on the GM HEI are at the opposite end of the module to the coil wires
- on the Bosch 4 pin module, the terminals are in a straight line, with p/up terminals at one end. Coil neg is on the outside at the other end, to keep as much gap as possible from p/up wires.
- MSD ign boxes have the p/up wires exiting from their own hole, far way from coil wires.
