Hello all...we have a 1968 Dodge Dart GT. The Dart originally had a 273 V8..
We bought this car in 2005 with the intent of having a Family (Father / Son) Project completed for our son's Senior Year in High School (2007). The idea was to just pull the 273 out and fit a 360...but things sorta snowballed and before we knew it, we had talked ourselves into stuffing a Big Block in there...
It took us about a year and a half to get it done, all work except for the Bodywork & Paint and the exhaust system was done in our garage at home.
We managed to finish the Dart the summer before his Senior Year...
So now it has a 383 B-block, Schummy Tri-Ys, 727, 3.91 Sure Grip, '73 Duster Disc Brakes, Cragar SS wheels, and all the many other things necessary to make a big block work in an Daily Driver A-Body... 8)
