Hello all!

My name is Tony, and my father and I are in the reality TV show "Bullrun" airing in Feb. 2009 on SpeedTV. For those of you who don't know what "Bullrun" is, it is a reality show starting off with 12 teams. Every episode there is an "elimination" where someone is eliminated.... they do this on one hour episodes until there is ONE winner.... and that winner wins $200,000.

Anyway I bring this up on this forum, because we are the only representing Mopar team! It is possible you have already seen commercials, and seen some of the intense vehicles we are up against! All we ask is for some support come the show time, and hopefully we can bring home the trophy to show the US what Mopars are made of!

It would be extremely helpful if you guys have joined our Myspace page until our website is up and running. The url is www.myspace.com/teamgreendart

Again we are not here for money, just here hopefully to make some friends and get some additional support for our team from fellow Mopar lovers!

Our vehicle is a 1970 Dodge Dart, turned from a high 10 Second street car to a 4000mile road rallier in two days! It is driven with a 4" stroke 340 motor, making 580hp@5900rpm and 600lbs@4400rpm, all on pump gas! Yes those are "true" dyno tested numbers. Going through a 4 speed to the usually 8 3/4 rear end. Check out more pics on our myspace page!

Cool. Glad there's someone carrying the Mopar banner! With an A body, too! Best of luck. Hopefully Goldberg gives you some extra attention since he's a Mopar nut.

hey i added you guys to my myspace...II thought mr angry was going to be in it again this time with another mopar ( think a roadrunner or something) but i guess not...good luck and make sure you make us mopar guys proud! i hope you guys take home the win!

I am just curious as to what kind of "support" you are asking for here.

Do you just want mopar oriented comments on your myspace page for viewer type support?

Please excuse my ignorance.

Bill Goldberg is a supernice guy! Man he was showing me some cool pictures of all his Mopars, everytime we brought up something about one of our cars (Cudas, challengers, RR's, etc) he always had a cooler car to top it lol.

Comments on myspace is nice. Just going around the internet hopefully showing what a Mopar can do when Febuary rolls around.... not asking for money, just creating awareness... is that bad?

p.s. I might have some "good" rear notchback window mouldings off a cuda parts car, let me check it out....

Yeah, I was just wondering how well we could support your car online, or if you just wanted as many viewers to watch as possible...cool.
Was not trying to be a smarty pants, I guess you can say I'm one of those guys that just have to put the fork in the light socket just to see what it was Dad was warning me about. LOL.

It's cool dude, just seeing if we can make the Mopar... and even better the A Body community proud! Infact just picked up another '70 Dart today from Riverside. A bodies don't get enough credit, yes we have Challengers, Cudas (all 3 gens) and other B bodies.... but we wanted to show people an A body platform can handle too.

nice, glad to see another bad a$$ mopar is in bullrun again (especially an A body).....I was dissapointed to see the black charger, mr. angry, get eliminated last season

Never got to watch it last year. I wanted to. If you got a Green Dart, and your on a show, im watching! Good Luck, Remeber, if you beat someone, or how ever it works, ask Goldberg...."Who's Next" he may laugh. lol

Tony and the fellow Team Dart members, thanks for your post and for letting everyone know you're out there!! I've seen the show a couple of times but will definitely be watching -- and rooting you on -- a lot more often now.

Good choice on the 340 ... my baby Slimer wears one too. I have to admit yours is a bit more race worthy than mine though. LOL

Please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything I can do to help sponsor your Dart in the form of some custom powder coating. It would truly be an honor to be involved in a project like yours. (That offer goes out to any other formal race teams on FABO too ... you guys know I try to take care of you as well as you all do me. :love7:)

I wish you and your team the absolute best of luck with the Bull Run season! You'll have a huge cyber pit crew here on FABO.

Go Get Them Dude !!!!!!!

Thanks CudaChick! We really do appreciate any support and potential help! Hopefully we'll be making many car shows in the So Cal area next year.... anyone go to the Spring Fling in Van Nuys?

We have some website plans, hopefully building a car and auctioning it off for Charity, but we will see.

Very clean Dart Johnny! That thing is Gorgeous! I think I only have one dirty picture of our engine bay....

It's great to see a Dart anything on national tv. Maybe after the show if you guys do well I will be able to sell off my 70 GREEN 340 car! HA! This show is one of the few shows my wife and I like to watch together so we'll be sure to tune in. Good Luck! ( I imagine the show has already been taped huh?)

Sorry, that was right after we bolted the exhaust up and before we welded the tips on, it's a dual 3" set up, a little hard to fit under the car lol.

There's not much to the suspension, just all new bushings, etc. B Body sway bars, 4 wheel disc brakes, the usual. They only gave us a 2 day notice we were on the show, so we did everything we could to take it from a drag/street set up to a road rally set up
