Okay, current plans for my 440 include the following.

L2355 pistons
Eagle rods,
Eddy RPM heads
Comp XE285 cam.
Stock stroke forged crank

I was planning on running a torker 2 intake(already had laying around) however, I'm finding myself thinking about dual quads and ditching the torker 2.

Thoughts?

I'm hoping for 450-500 fly wheel HP out of this set up but the cool factor of dual quads kind sounds well fun.

Tunnel Ram ? Dual quads ? Budget 440? 72 Scamp Tramp, has done this well enough, to get it running.( Sounds good. ) Find his thread, he built it with no prior experience. It's a cool read.

As far as induction is concerned, run what tickles your fancy.
A tunnel ram will most like be fun if you run a pair of small carbs.
A pair of 600's is WAY plenty.

I think either induction package sounds like a fun ride. I remember seeing the inline dual quads running against the new max wedges at San Gabriel, CA dragstrip in the early 60's. I think the inline dual quads were a better looking package. The S/S finishing order was always, Max Wedge, then dual quad Dodge, then Ford/Chevy.

Dual quad cool looking? Bless me yes!

Tunnel Rams work great. I put together a 10 to 1 440 with OOTB Indy EZ heads with an Indy tunnel ram. Dual 750hp Holleys. It drove perfect on the street and made 625hp on the engine Dyno.
