Thanks for the info, I will be running these heads next year on new build hopefully. From what I’ve seen they are really good as far as standard gear head goes. Performance aside, I’m happy to do business with Rod. Very stand up guy for sure. Prh I had spoken with you about them and really appreciate some of the insights you gave as well! Thanks again

Your 340 is stroked to 410 correct?

    That’s a “Ron’s flying toilet” up top?

Jesse Robinson (RAMM) ported the heads so you know they are done right.

And yet everyone says you need a stroker engine. My sons stock crank 360 ran 6.54 four times which is a very low 10.20. Flat top pistons, open chamber Edelbrock heads, 750 alcohol carb, 727 transmission, little .620 roller cam, at 3200 pounds. Nothing wrong with stock stroke small blocks.

there is more in my car. first pass was 10.13 in bad hot humid air so i took 4* out of the car and lowered the shift points to 6300 rpm for the next race weekend. the air was better and i knew i was going to run in the 9's. ran 9.96 so i had to take another 4* out of the car.
              car will run 9.6-70's

I have no issues with guys thinking they need aftermarket rods. With the cost of upgrading the stock rods I think getting even a rod like the Scat rods are a smart move. I only had one set in my hands when I bought an unassembled shortblock and later sold it but they looked very nice for the price.

I agree ## but those stock internals are pretty darn tuff & of course with upgraded rod bolts

Chevy heads are commonly welded up to move the pushrod tubes and relocate the valves...Mopar did it from the factory. Then the Chevy guys buy offset rockers and never bitch about it even though the whole deal, parts and labor, may run up to $2,000!!!

The Brodix B1 BA MC heads cost $1,000 each. Moved centerline on the valves. You can run stock Mopar rocker if you add the rocker stands ($140.00?).

They will flow 345 @ .700...maybe 330 @.600. Better than most. Require a W5/W7 intake. Drill your own exhaust bolt pattern.

My W-2 intakes with a mild port do 294@ .600.
