Yep, I own it on dvd. Its kinda like a cheesy version of American Graffitti. Not a bad movie, but I've seen better!

theres another movie called hot rod with a hemi belvedere that gets wrecked and they put the hemi in a pre war willys and race against the bad guy sonny munns? but i can't seem to find the movie anywhere...

Just watched it yesterday. SPIKE THE PUNCH!!
Good movie.
If you remember the scene where they showed Jimmy Shine's / Gary Graham car fixed up as a going away present and the telephone rings and one of the guys yells out if thats Sharon i'm not here.
That Sharon was my late uncle's secretary. Jr as he was called owned a high body repair and detailing shop in Hollywood.
Hot rod is a cool movie also. Old school racing,got to love it.
