The Pittsburgh Post(Putz) Gazette just closed it's doors. While the employees sued & struck & pretended that they were still living in the '90's, everybody is "shocked", which shows just how F*cking out-of-touch those people have become. There are a lot of very smart, professional, talented folks who have made that paper possible......from the bottom up, but the writing has been on the wall for some time.
They were decidedly left-leaning from ~'90 on up, & the appearance of the Tribune-Review cost them subscribers during their run, but almost no lessons learned. When the specter of instant/online news hovered over the print's own obituary, they all looked away, like sheep grazing while the coyotes eat their wooly flock-mate.
