how hard a fit is a hemi?

-
I have the engine minus the rocker arms, a modified "K" frame from Newcombs Hemispherical parts, and a new set of Hookers, just out of cash for a while. I need to completely rebuild the suspension before I do it.

If I did have the extra cash I would sell the modified "K" frame and get the RMS I mentioned in the above post!

JUST MY OPINION-----Thr RMS stuff is SUPER, no doubt about it. I don't know what your budget is, but remember--these cars were built using ALOT of factory parts & ran many-a-season with that stuff under it. Depending on what you want out of the car I kind of don't see a reason to hold back completing your project until you get the "trick" stuff. My current project is using factory parts (all new) so I'm really not worried about it. My previous 2 cars also used stock ront-ends and "S/S and FX" here in Phoenix builds alot of really nice S/S clone cars withfactory front-ends and Greg runs his car quite a bit, but it's your car, your call........

won't be doing anything high tech here. budget is not the issue, but at the same time, I'm really not crazy! lol! simply have the thoughts of a hemi in the car. I myself would like to keep it as uncomplicated as possible. I thought ssaafan was on the right track for my purpose with the answer given. sounds like there is alot of little things to be done.

fortunately or unfortunately, doing something with cars is not high on my priority list. although the beast would have the wow factor of the elephant, would I be better off with a stroker 360 instead?
the barracuda was to be a driver car, so,,,,,,,,,,,,, is it worth the headaches of putting the elephant in?
Judging from what you said, I think you would be happier with the 360. It's plenty fast enough for the street, handles much better, and bolts right in. Less $ on gas, too. I used to commute in my 340 cuda when I was on the West Coast.

Thank you Dude but I have to tell you that if your in the 10's with a street car then I tip my hat! Its a beautiful thing! :supz:
