im not sure what im gonna do with this

-
Im sure ill figure out something. If i find a newer dart, say a 73-75 for dirt cheap, ill just convert it to a 68.Its really not that hard, since i have the 4 door for the parts needed to do the job.Im gonna let my boys check this car out the weekend, and see how they like it.Who knows, one of them may want it for a project of there own.It wont be long before gabriel is gonna hit the teen years, and hes already wanting a car of somekind to work on.

Well...while everyone is beggin for stuff for 50 bucks, I could sure use a good pair of front fenders:mrgreen:

I showed the boys the 68 dart today, and they like it,so i guess it will be fixed after the 71 dart is done. Also,i remebered my dad has a 241 RED RAM HEMI that i can buy for $500.00,its complete, and not stuck.I would have to find a 4 barrel intake,or dual quad intake of somekind for it though.I would rebuild the motor stock, except for a lumpy cam,and put the shorty headers on it.Of course they would have to be modified to fit the dart.I also have a 700r4 overdrive transmission, and an adapter for it laying around i think.I also have access to an a body 8.75 with a 2.76 gear i can get for $50.00.So what do you guys think,a hemi in a 68 dart 4 door should make an interesting combo, and would really improve the value of the car if i decide to sale it later on.I have decided to do the rest of the car like a resto, stock blue interior, stock white exterior, white steelies, with 68 dodge dog dishes, although i will put stronger torsion bars, and disc brakes on it for safety, lol

i think the 4 door hemi idea would be sweet, but id leave the exterior rough to keep the sleeper image going!!

kids seem to love to pick, rub, touch rust for some reason, and one of the boys already stuck there finger in one of the holes in the trunk lid.I at least have to fix the dangerous stuff, since i have 4 kids and a bunch of nephews that love to be all over old cars.as for the rest of it,im fine with driving just a primered car,i also like the old rat rod look
