Restore it, Dont part it!
Im only running 215/60s atm
It's tough, but you'll get it. The car in the video above is proof! And guess what, I was hooking with a common cooper cobra street radial before the MT ET streets. I can't emphasize enough on tuning the car (suspension, traction tricks) and You Have To Learn To Drive It Out Of the Hole! Without a sure grip or spool, I can't emphasize that enough either.I think traction is gonna be my biggest challenge. I was playing the other day running around 25mph I gunned it and it broke loose and started spinning.
What kind of tires? And there size?I think traction is gonna be my biggest challenge. I was playing the other day running around 25mph I gunned it and it broke loose and started spinning.

They are bfg advantage TA 215/60/15s the shocks are stock Monroe on the front and air shocks in the back. What kind of tires? And there size?
Start with shocks.
Thank you. At the track she does all the videoing. I do the editing. On other projects, she does some videoing and other times I use the tri pod.Who helps you on your videos. If that’s your wife tell hell she doing a great job and whoever is editing the videos is to.
Small change here and there..... LOL
It's his master of tuning...That 360 is an anomaly! I've seen so many including my old one with more compression, more cam, 3,500 stall and 3.23 gears not be that quick.
My cam is a bottom end cam, and that really helps. That 360 is an anomaly! I've seen so many including my old one with more compression, more cam, 3,500 stall and 3.23 gears not be that quick.
I have work into getting this car to hook up and work. More has been done than what meets the eye. It's his master of tuning...
Thanks! I shift to 3rd, my motor isn't an RPM motor at all. I don't log the weather conditions, but my friends down at the track always let me know. I don't change anything regardless of the weather, though.I like how you get it done! Do you go through the traps in 2nd? Do you log weather conditions?
That is our goal, to keep whittling it down inch by inch .... LOL !!!! Preloading the car at the staged lights is getting to be trick work as it gets faster. If I don't load right at the lights, it will be a one tire fire show.solid mid 12's or better by the end of summer.
inch by inch
yeah, I really need to look at the weight on mine too. It has the fold down back seat, brace in the door, I did cut most of the brace out behind the bumper but I still have the shocks. My 74 might be a little on the heavy side also so that's my best excuse! Lol
That's a nice run !!!The best i got was 13.04 @104.5 with my unported jheads
I think about 99 or 100. I'd have to look. I know it went 13.3's with stock 360 heads and 2.94's.What was the mph with the iron heads?
