Any 340 or 360 intake will work.

1968-1969 340 intake casting # 2531915 for an AVS carb has the small bypass nipple for the cast iron water pump.

1970 340 intake casting # 3462848 for an AVS carb has the large bypass nipple for the aluminum water pump.

MOPAR also made an aluminum copy of the 1970 340 intake.

1971 up 340 and 360 intakes are for the Thermoquad (my favorite street carb)

Wouldn't want to go much over 15k.....but that's not even problem
A donner car is the way to go
Plans are to drive the car as is and collect body parts but if something comes up I'd jump on it
Has to be a basically stock 340 couldn't sleep at night with anything else
4spd thinking 373
It's a convert so just stock is enough
Want it look like it rolled out the factory that way
Seems like a early engine is better
But if something pops up anything will do
If you are thinking sinking a 4-speed in it, you just upped the cost and finding the extra body parts to strengthen the frame and the floor hump for the shifter. I would suggest finding one already set up for what you want. Your 225 Dart is a cool car to hang on to as it is.

I guess the next question is brakes was disk an option?
Or do I stay with drums
Then again would like the best that was available in 69
Unless your 225 was a cab or ordered special, your 9" brakes should be upgraded to 10". You can still find K/H disc brakes that will bolt up to your car, but must also add the lower ball joint from the 10" or K/H set up. Will have to drill out the mounting holes on the 10" drum brakes ball joint bracket. Going to need a PP valve to be safe on wet roads. Also the master cylinder is different. As others has mentioned, there is a lot to go from a 225 to a 340 makeover.

Oh yes I know
I knew about the hump in the floor but what's the reinforcement....
I have the kh spindles disks and calipers was just talking to a friend about the bjs need to find the mc and valve

No reinforcement required.
Just use a 69 Dart disc brake MC, MC are the same in 69 power or manual brakes, and 69 used a separate proportioning valve.

Probably the member is referring to the tourque boxes that were included with a factory 4spd. You won't need em because all convertibles came with the same tourque boxes regardless of engine displacement. Your good to go.
