inner tie rod and pitman arm boots

Does anyone know if the boots are removeable? My inner tie rod and pitman arm boots are broken and I can buy new inner tie rods from Moog for $15.00, but I would rather keep the original steel and just replace the rubber boots, Thanks,
 
tie rod boots are usually available in the HELP section of your local parts store...or they are available from summit
 
I asked the guy a Auto Drone and all he wanted to do was to sell me the compete tie rod end for $7.00 and the pitman arm for $70.00. I will buy Moog for $15.00 and $85.00 respectively if I have to, but would rather keep the original parts if I can. So, this guy and another guy at Pep Boys could not give me a difinitive answer to the aforementioned question. Are the boots replaceable (independent) or are they part of the unit?

autozone has a HELP section...go there and look...dont ask the guy behind the counter
