Just as the title says, I am looking for someone who lives in the coastal area of North Carolina between Moorehead City area south to Wilmington to the S.C.border. The person who I am seeking would need to have a covered Van or a pickup truck with a cap to carry new appliances to customers homes for installation. Tools would be needed for these installs consisting of power and hand tools and some specialty tools. I am SWAMPED with work and currently have 55 service calls this week and I am covering 5 stores in different locations from Goldsboro N.C. to the coast to Wilmington area to Fayetteville N.C. I have a 3 year contract with Sears so the right person would have steady employment for at least the next 3 years. I am currently running ALL these calls myself and will be working very long hours so not much FABO time. As for experience, I am willing to train the right person if necessary. The pay for this job opening is negotiable, but lets put it this way. The person who is hungry for work and can complete installs cleanly and effeciently will earn a very good living. if interested please leave me a P.M. or e mail me at: monacoinstallations@netzero.com Thanks FABO!!

Although I'm good at the moment, I really appreciate you making an effort to hire someone and give them an opportunity in this area. Thank you and I'll pass along information on anyone I think would be a good fit to your need!

Duster I hope you find someone real quick.

Me too, I am getting older and the mind says go but the body says no. I can still do the installs but it's getting to be much when it is 6-8 calls a day and the distance between stops is around 100 miles one way. Especially on the same day. i am trying to schedule these calls by area and will probably be spending a couple days out at the coast a week but I really need someone who lives out in that area to cover the territory so I can concentrate on areas near my home. I have 59 calls as of this posting.

Good on ya!! Awesome opportunity for someone!! Always wished I had've gotten into the trades!! Being that frickin busy is awesome, and ya want to take as much work as you can..Ya got someone doing the books and answering calls for you?? Nice to see a thread where someone is as busy as you are. Congrats!! Now someone take this opportunity!!

I am scheduling, making calls, doing billing, printing and filing all work orders myself at this point. I just bought a wireless printer so I can take the laptop on the road with me and have a traveling office on the road.

Great idea with the printer! Secretary would sure come in handy too......sometimes they come with perks!

I wish..... my wife would kill me. She is not computer literate or I would have her doing all the office tasks.

You forgot that they need a strong back. Dishwashers and cooktops arent bad but wall mount ovens are another story. Sounds like a great opportunity for a young man.

Yes the stress level is off the chart right now. Some dishwashers are just as heavy as a wall oven. Samsung has very heavy dishwashers. I do have a helper who has been working with me every day. That helps a lot. We are doing these jobs now but we have to do what we have to do. I am going to sleep now. The road is calling me @ 5 A.M. So if anyone out here needs work and is located in N.C. hit me up!! Thanks again.

Congrats on your contract!! Good luck finding quality guys for this line of work is hard.I just let 2 go this week didn't want to but were bring scopes down fast!!

Please take care bud. Put an add on your local craigslist for help wanted. You should get bombarded and just have to weed thru them.

Don't list your phone # though, have them send you their qualifications and goals via email response only.

Man I wish I Lived up that way, I've been put of work for 9 months now!!! All my savings are gone and the tiny unemployment check barely puts a dent in the bills.

In this economy you'll probably be swamped with applicants. The tough part will be choosing the best qualified. Good luck and congratulations on a successful business venture.
