Can someone tell me is this alternator has an internal or external voltage regulator?

Or what year the change was made from external or internal?
Thanks. Wiring it up now
Has field and ground connections

All of those are external. That is the older "round back" design, which had inferior low speed output. If it only has one field connection, it is up through 69 and will need a 69 or earlier regulator. Most any regulator you buy now will be solid state, the originals were mechanical.

And if you install a replacement regulator that is electronic, make damn sure the mounting screws are tight and the screw holes are not rusty or clogged with paint. You need a good ground for it to work properly. Don't ask me how I know!
