Todays work was to take all the front susspension out, and drop the k-frame.
The plan is to build the motor on the k-frame and drop it in below the car.
I have never done it this way, but what the heck, how hard can it be ?
Seems pretty straight forward. Dave (66valiant) is going to lend me a hand.

Cool Johnny. Did you decide if you are going to get the k-frame and other parts powder coated yet? You may as well and you'll love the finish.

If you put engine and K under there as it sits now you'll need to build the front suspension and put wheels on it before you transfer the weight from the jack to the car. Wouldn't want it to tip.
I use a set of scafolding stands (16" tall) under the forward ends of frame rails. I place those after I get the engine and K under the car. Catchers if you will. Good luck

Hey Dave,
Nice to see you made it out of the water !
Not sure on the powder coat, might just put some semi-gloss on there and be done with it. Will have to see.
Talk to ya.
