I had a problem using oil. See post http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=208596. I started tearing my 318 engine down today. It seems that the bottom of the intake gasket didn't seal. It was torqued to 30lbs and then checked an re-torqued again. There isn't an impression on the gasket lower edge. There was visible oil on the bottom of the gasket and in the cylinders. The intake is aluminum Edelbrock performer. The first gasket was the metal from the kit, I didn't know any better. I put the intake on dry and it seems to line up and the gap looks OK. The 2nd intake gasket was a FelPro 1213. I have two questions.
1st how do I fix this intake leak.
2nd at this point should I change the head gasket since I'm this far along?
