I so wanted that motor...you will be a happy camper.
The CFII disc is, IMO, very harsh. But with those skinny short rollers, you won't/may not notice. The close ratio demands more rear gear. You will be looking at,at least 3.91s.He did a 1993 or later external balance flywheel
I use a Centerforce clutch and pressure plate so I'll see if they make one
sounds like a good thing, altho I tried to take care of the weak stuff to start with.Good for you man
Just a heads up, I've had a lot of issues with stuff breaking after installing my MRL motor...the transmission, the rearend, and any speed limit I've come across
The transmission was unexpected, but I already had the 8 3/4sounds like a good thing, altho I tried to take care of the weak stuff to start with.
Looking for a LA Motor, the headers I have will not fit
The motor is still externally ballanced? Pay close attention there, the magnum and LA 360 are slightly different on ballance weight, sounds like you need a 10.5 flywheel with magnum ballance maybe...He did a 1993 or later external balance flywheel

Can someone recommend a quality aftermarket HD clutch set up and pilot Bering for this motor
The correct flywheel is a 143 tooth external balance 5.9 magnum.
Thanks
I think your bellhousing dictates what flywheel you need, and yours is probably a 130 tooth. I'd take the used one you have now, and have it ballanced to magnum specs, assuming that's what the builder ballanced it with. I would have assumed a stroker engine with different pistons ect, would have been internally ballanced, but perhaps not.Can someone recommend a quality aftermarket HD clutch set up and pilot Bering for this motor

It's the 318 mini stroker that MRL BUILTI thin

I think everyone knows that, what's your point? It's the 318 mini stroker that MRL BUILT

Because that's the flywheel Mike suggested that I get. (143 t)
Your correct I have a new centerforce set up on my motor that's in the car now.
I'm asking the experts here cause I have no clue what's what...
You guys are awesome with info.
So lucky there's no one around my area that has any knowledge on mopars.
I thin

Hard to beat that CF. That MRL is gonna need it. Perhaps not on the street, But for sure when/where you can get it to hook. Hooking is gonna be a problem
McLeod sell a flywheel with bolt on weights, it works great.
I actually have 2 of them, got tired of buying flywheels when I change motors.
Did you buy the one with the weights?
That flywheel has saved my wallet, ended up with a external balance 340 in my duster, and a 360 mag in my truck.
Two of the weirdest balanced mopars ever.
