Making progress on my Demon

Took my Demon to a car show today. Got it back home and found both header bolts had backed out around #1 cylinder. Had to round up two header bolts and replace them. Tightened them up fairly snug but not too snug. I wish Indy Cylinder Head would helicoil their threads instead of leaving them aluminum. Easy to over tighten and strip.

i smear some silicon on header bolt threads these days and haven't had any loosen on me since.

Well I got mine out as well, after I bought a new battery of course! Arghh! First cruise in of the year is this next weekend.

Awesome job Dave ! Just revisited your posts for the second or third time , forgot to leave msg . Fyi , switching my mech fan to Twister ( as you suggested ).... are you happy with the amount of air it moves ?
