will your oli mod work with a hyd. cam ??? i will be using stock rockers ..plan to go to a adjustable rocker later on but not at the time the motor will be done..

if your mod will work thats the way i will go on this motor.. just trying to get last min. things before i start to put it together ..only thing left to get is lifters and a few gaskets

I asked him a little while back if I should do the oil mod with my 383 build (hyd roller) and he replied it would be a good idea...now, I just gotta buy some stuff from him ;)

I have not done it with stock rockers. If I were I would drill and tap the oil feed port from the block to the head and put a restrictor in. There is no way to contain the oil with stock rockers, unlike roller rockers where the oil is somewhat controlled with the rockers and spacers.

got some adjustable rockers on the way... found a great deal on some factory rockers..
